Welcome to the Brookside Community Hub
Brookside Community Hub is funded and run by Growing Together.
The aim of the Hub is to improve the lives of those living on Lings and Lumbertubs by offering them a place to socialize as well as somewhere to come with issues they might not know how to solve themselves.
Brookside Community Hub is near to Costcutters on Lumbertubs by the play area.
We have a drop-in session every Monday from 9:00 to 15:00 where you can come in for a cuppa and to chat with Danielle the community development worker.
There is a tot’s group on a Monday afternoon from 13:30 to 15:00, term time only, where you can meet up with others with young children and the children can make new friends.
On a Tuesday morning during term time we offer toast and a cuppa from 9:00 to 11:00. There is also a housing drop-in on the first Tuesday of the month with a housing officer from Northampton Partnership Homes.
We also do a litter pick once a month on a Tuesday afternoon. The dates are displayed in the window of the Hub and on our Facebook page.
Wednesday mornings we have a Pilates class from 9:15 to 10:15 which cost £3.00. We also have a craft group on a Wednesday morning until 12:00. Our book club meet the second Wednesday of the month from 13:00 to 15:00 and we have a knitting group who meet every Wednesday 13:00 to 15:00.
Citizens Advice are in the Hub on alternate Wednesday mornings from 9:30 to 12:30.
We also put on events during half term and throughout the summer.
