In the School Holidays Growing Together runs a Play scheme at BGN nursery. This Play scheme is open to all children aged 4-10 years living in the local area. The play scheme runs from 10am-3pm on select days within the half terms, Easter and Summer holidays. (Please note that the pay scheme is closed during the Christmas holidays.)
The play scheme aims to offer children a variety of experiences. Activities on offer range from cooking on BBQs to taking part in Dance lessons carried out by a qualified Dance teacher.
Boxing, Shelter building in Lings Woods, Trip to Hazard Alley, Wood work, Arts and Crafts, Abington Park, Children Entertainers, Cooking and Fun Science lessons with a qualified Science teacher.
Spaces are limited so if you are interested we recommend you call BGN nursery on 01604 411166. You will need to pay £10 per child per day and ensure that your child brings a pack lunch.

Play scheme ran for 2 weeks over August. The children participated in a range of activities such as cooking, visiting Cafe Emm, Break dancing, Science activities and Sports.
JUst Karen and Dance teacher Swifty kindly supported by running some sessions for the children.
The children also took advantage of the activities provided at Brookside Hub.
We also said goodbye to Alice our Play Worker. Alice has worked in the play scheme for the past year. She has helped the children in carft activities and has showed them how to bake yummy cakes and cookie dough. We would like to wish Alice the best of luck in her future.
